Next Week is...

Rosh Chodesh Kislev!!

Think about the Chanukah story, when the Greeks forbade the Jewish People from observing Jewish Law, praying in the Holy Temple and worse. I wonder if Shiloh was also forbidden to Jews, since the Tabernacle was here for almost four hundred years before King David chose Jerusalem as our Capital. Were there Jews who came to Shiloh as an alternative to The Temple in Jerusalem?

Well, now, ironically, we have a Jewish State, but we are still forbidden to pray on the Temple Mount where our Holy Temples had been located. But we do have Shiloh! And that's one of the reasons I've been inviting women to come here every Rosh Chodesh, beginning of the Jewish Month to pray together. Next Wednesday is Rosh Chodesh Kislev. Please try to join us.
