World Ignores Terror Murder of Henkin Couple

Rabbi Eitam and Naama Henkin, HaYa"D

About ten hours ago, Rabbi Eitam and Naama Henkin, HaYa"D, from Neria were brutally shot and killed by Arab terrorists. Miraculously, their children survived the attack.

Considering how quickly news can be written up and publicized in the modern world, I expected to see the terrible brutal attack headlined in news sites on the internet. And I was hoping for condemnations of the terrorists. When Jews are suspected of attacking Arabs, it certainly gets a lot of "column inches." And, davka, this couple (at least the husband) must be American. Rabbi Eitam Henkin, HaYa"D, was the son of veteran immigrants from the U.S.A. Rabbanit Chana Henkin, founder of the Nishmat Institute for Advanced Jewish Studies for Women in Jerusalem and Rabbi Yehuda Henkin, known posek (halakhic decider) and author of the four volume set of responsa, Bnai Banim.

But, at least for now, I found almost no articles and absolutely no condemnation. I checked my usual Reuters, which is one of the largest and most popular news sites and sources. I also checked Fox and CNN. Davka, The New York Times has an article about it on their World News page:

By ISABEL KERSHNER 9:10 PM ET
Eitam and Naama Henkin were driving with their children, ages 9 to 4 months, when they were fatally shot.
Hamas, the Islamic militant group that controls Gaza, praised the shootings without claiming responsibility. “A greeting of glory and pride to the heroes who perpetrated this brave attack,” Iyad al-Buzom, a spokesman for the Hamas-run interior ministry in Gaza, wrote on his Facebook page.
The silence of international leaders when innocent Jews are murdered is deadly, because it just encourages the Arab terrorists to attack and murder more Jews. And the recent increase in Arab terrorist attacks on Jews is a result of the international support Abbas and the P.A. are getting for the establishment of a state which unabashedly aims to destroy the State of Israel, Gd forbid.

My prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Rabbi Eitam and Naama Henkin, HaYa"D.

Kudos dear Batya for highlighting the aggravating fact that world media ignores the Islamic terror in Israel that has been gathering strength since the summer. WE are in the news only when WE are the perpetrators of some 'human rights violation' It makes me sick! Wonderful post!

We are once again voices crying out in the wilderness. We must cry and mourn (after the chag, of course) as is proper, both the tragedy which occurred to this wonderful family full of Torah and the horrendous injustice of the silence. Jews and Judaism and Israel have survived worse, and we will. But each time we wonder, Ruler of the Universe, how long? With all our great hardware and software and well-trained and equipped soldiers and police, we are still dependent on G-d and our prayers. Where did they live and where is the shiva going to be after the chag? If you hear anything, let us know.

Message to the world: F*ck you !! You are on your way to total destruction, hell!
Read the scriptures.

Why should Jews need affirmation of others?

I always thought Jewish dignity, freedom and self-determination are axiomatic and unreserved. They exist in their own right.

And we hear the Prime Minister of Israel beg the murderers to negotiate with him.

He received their answer in the form of the murder of Eitam and Naama Henkin.

But he won't give up the kind of deal with them that would endanger Israel's future.

Jewish blood flowing in the streets makes no lasting impression upon the Israeli elite.

We have become inured to enemy lies to the extent that Jews forget their cause is just.

Above all, Jewish humanity should be non-negotiable.

The goyim only understands one language: What the F, F*ck you!!
Jews, tell them what they understand not what you understand but they don't.

Btw, The tikun [soul correction] of a goy [except a noahide, www.asknoah.org] is total destruction. Read scriptures. It is written black on white:

"Änd I shall destroy those nations amongst whom I have dispersed you."-Yeremiyah 30:11

"Änd I shall be very angry with those complacent nations: for my anger [towards Israel] was limited but they meted punishment beyond that" - Zekharya 1:15

"Since Go-d's day of judgement approaches for all nations: As you have treated[i.e. Israel] likewise you will be dealt with! - Ovadya 1:15

The Almighty says to Israel: Just wait until the time of harvesting Edom comes, then I will humiliate them. As it says: 'On Edom I cast my shoe!'- Ps. 60:10

"I will spend My arrows upon them." - Deut. 32:23

"Together they will be crushed"- Daniel 2:35

etc etc

All who punish Israel will be annihilated.

So again, message to the world: F*ck you!

Culture Diversity training

At this point in history the PM should only answer all questions about anything that way!:

"F*ck you!, Read scriptures." or
"Read scriptures. F*ck you!"

This is the only true authentic way for Jews to get the goyim to respect them and fear them and to attract Go-d's Providence. When you show you trust in Go-d only, you make a kiddush Hashem and you invoke miracles.

I have tested this many times.

All of our holy and oppressed/threatened ancestors have used the same mode: Moses in front of Pharao, Jacob with Lavan/Esav, Yosef and Potipahr's wife, Yehuda, the Maccabees, those who fought the 6 Day War, those who have destroyed the Osirak nuclear plant etc etc.

Forget about the traumas of Jewish history and start talking/acting like a Yehudi !!

We are a great people and Hashem loves us.

Murder is the worst of crimes.

But incitement leads to attacks.

For years there was a status quo regarding Jews abstaining from Temple Mount.

Lately, ultra right wing Jews thought nothing of breaking status quo.

This may have caused incitement.

And most Israelis do not iive in the disputed territories.

Ultra right wingers though seem to think that they too can break the status quo of disputed territories to do whatever they so please.

You live in Shilo and it's natural that you side with the ultra right.

But there are two sides to the coin and hollering foul won't get the problem solved.

To the world, only responses by Israel endangers peace.

Besides, it's harder to condemn Arabs.

Sammy Finkelman said...

The status quo has not been broken at the Temple Mount, or if you want to say something has, only very marginally, and not in violation of any agreement. The government of Israel has honored every agreement about the Temple Mount - 100% and more. If that fact cannot be acknowledged, all negotiations are useless.

Thanks for the comments. I can't get to all to respond, but a 3/10/15 23:35 makes no sense. There aren't "two sides to the coin" when talking of unprovoked murder aka terrorism.
