Ain't No "Peace Partners!"

I'm just so sick and tired of hearing that the Arabs, the Fatah, Hamas, P.A.-Palestinian Authority etc are Israel's Peace Partners sic and we should be negotiating away our Land and sovereignty to make a new Arab terror state attached to Israel in our historic Biblical homeland.

We're told that "you can only make peace with enemies" which isn't true at all. You can only make peace with those who want to make peace. And the Arabs here who are supposed to be negotiating with us don't want don't want peace. They want us dead and gone.

Yesterday as I was cooking for the Simchat Torah Holiday and listening to the news on Israeli TV I heard one of the newscasters say what could be most politely called asinine, stupid, ridiculous statements. She was troubled and confused by the fact that the Palestinian sic leadership kept refusing to say the simple formula condemning the recent terror attacks which had resulted in the deaths of at least four innocent Jews.
"Why won't they condemn the terror attacks? Why do they keep refusing? What could be so difficult?" She kept cluelessly asking.
All she wanted was for them to recite the "magic formula" so it would be easy to pretend that "they are just like us and want to live in peace." Basically she goes for the Catholic version of repentance rather than the Jewish one.
"Say your hail marys and next week you can confess and repent  again."
We're dealing with a very serious enemy, and no number of lukewarm "condemnations" or "hail marys" are going to change them into "peace partners." The latest bulletin from the Palestinian Media Watch make some good points:
Terrorist murderer's motivation echoes PA incitementThe Palestinian terrorist who stabbed two people to death on Saturday night in Jerusalem posted on his Facebook page his motivation to murder. Muhannad Halabi's words echo the hate and terror promotion of the PA leaders and show the direct connection between the murderer's actions and the PA leaders' incitement.
Palestinian terrorist Muhannad Halabi wrote:

"According to what I see, the third Intifada has begun. What is happening to the Al-Aqsa Mosque is what is happening to our holy places and the way of our Prophet [Muhammad] and what is happening to the women of Al-Aqsa and our mothers and sisters.I do not believe that the people will succumb to humiliation. The people will rise up (literally "make intifada"), it will indeed make intifada."[Facebook page of Muhannad Halabi, Oct. 2, 2015]
The calls for Palestinians to act violently to "protect" and "defend" the Muslim holy sites have been led directly by Mahmoud Abbas himself, who blessed "every drop of blood that has been spilled for Jerusalem" and presented violence in "defense" of holy sites and against the Jews' "filthy feet" as a religious imperative:  (continue reading)
About "peace," it's not up to Israel. Israel hasn't made war and isn't the initiator of violence and terrorism. The Arabs are the terrorists, violent murdering terrorists. One day, Gd willing they will change, and then there will be peace. Until then  all we can do is defend ourselves and execute all Arab terrorists on the spot.

Brilliant post Batya! I agree with every word you wrote! I wish we had YOU in the government!! The naivete of the left wingers like Beilin make me physically ill. I constantly recall Adir Zik z'l rhetorically asking after each terror attack (when Arutz 7 was still a radio station,) "Who gave them guns? Who gave them guns?" And when he'd make an outrageous statement (to the leftists) he'd say, "And if I'm wrong, sue me and take me to court." May Hashem protect us from our enemies and have the left wingers open their eyes! Kudos my dear on an excellent post!

just found out about Na'amah

Shlomo also Attempted to Deal with Hostile Neighbors by marrying Idolaters, which only Exacerbated Idolatry and subsequent tragedies

Polygamy should be discouraged, since that is precisely what the Frienemies impose.

Being too kind. Polygamists should be reprimanded severely, even for entertaining such harmful Policies.

The Monarchs of the World should also heed that warning not to engage in Shallow Marriages, otherwise their Jewels shall be confiscated

I don't know, it's harvest season [well, sort of, since it was a jubilee year], so repentance shouldn't be the priority, at that point, in lieu of all that selectivity, as per Malachi

It's the Chinese New Year of the Red Fire Monkey
There really shouldn't be anymore Tribal Ambiguity, at this juncture
It would be silly to camp in the east, if you're not assigned those positions
Unfortunately, each sunrise brings Greater Judgments, so dress appropriately

1) There's a word for "making peace with the enemy": it's called "capitulation". You don't "make peace with enemies"; you make peace with <former enemies -- after destroying their ability and will to make war against you.

2) Expecting the likes of Abu Mamzer to condemn Arab terrorist attacks against Jews is like expecting Adolf Hitler y"sh to condemn Naziism.
