Chanukah and The Unilateral-Jews-Only Building Freeze

This is a very Israeli blog, so the American Thanksgiving has no place here at all.  I'm thankful to G-d every day for what G-d has given me on a personal and national level.  My nation is the Jewish Nation.  Judaism is a National Religion unlike any other religion.  We have a G-d, rituals, a history, a people and a land.  All are connected and combined.  That's the basic lesson of Chanukah.

The Greek king, Antiochus, attacked the Jewish People, invaded our Land, forbade Jewish Ritual, tried to delete our History and destroy our People.

How does this connect to the building freeze?

By kowtowing to American (and other foreign) dictates, Israel's Prime Minister, (politicians, academics and media) are
  • worshipping a foreign god
  • denying our History
  • belittling our People
  • and endangering our Land and Nation
It's no coincidence that November 29th falls around the Chanukah holiday.  It's a modern Hellenist (anti-Jewish) holiday, because it removes the establishment of the State of Israel from G-d's sphere and credits the United Nations and a multitude of foreign leaders.

G-d is behind all the good in the establishment of the Modern State of Israel, no one else but G-d.  The state isn't payoff/compensation for the Holocaust either.

Let's get out of the Hellenist mentality and remember what being a Jew really is supposed to be.

  • We must stop acting apologetic for our continued survival.
  • We don't owe any other country anything.
  • The world should be apologizing to us for all of the evil done to Jews over the millennia
G-d gave us this Holy Land and we must use it for our Jewish needs.  No more restrictions on Jewish building!

@Batya,

Do you see many Jewish constructions in Yesha ??
"Piece" now site is strangely mute over the subject and I wanted to know if ehud barak played along the rules or was still creating administrative hurdles for the revenants
Shabbat Shalom,
