Helen Thomas, Mel Gibson and Obama, Jewish National Rights in the HolyLand and Antisemitism, All The Same?

Sorry for the overly long title, but short and catchy doesn't say enough, or the morning coffee hasn't fully kicked in yet.

This morning I checked in to see what Kirk Douglas has to say.  He's "pissed off" about Helen Thomas's outburst.  That said, I don't think that he really relates to what she said.  She didn't criticize the democratic status or level of Israel.  She out and out denies Jewish national rights to our holy and historic Land.

Helen Thomas's words are very different from Mel Gibson's drunken outburst, very antisemitic, but not touching on politics or national rights.

Gibson's complaints are about Jews any place, anywhere, though of course he denies the feelings behind the drunken words.

Helen Thomas ranted against Israelis, not Jews, a fine distinction.

She denies Jewish Peoplehood and, just like United States President Obama, believes that we have no national rights in our Historical, Biblical HolyLand.

There is no way that Israel can survive with a Pseudostinian AKA Palestinian sic state in the middle of our HolyLand. United States President Obama has made his priorities very clear. He wants that new Arab state and he wants it now!  Those are Helen Thomas's sentiments exactly.

So, why is Barack Hussein Obama still President of the United States and Helen Thomas been forced to retire?

A cartoonist couldn't do better than G-d.

I disagree. She looks just like the ugly Jew characters stereotyped in Der Sturmer cartoons.

They doodled one of their own!

I don't think I've seen an uglier person than her! Ugliest face on the planet earth. She should know elderly women shouldn't wear red lipstick.

She's supposedly Lebanese. But she's nothing and I mean NOTHING like Danny Thomas, who was loved by Americans and opened St. Jude Children's Research Hospital which accepts all children regardless of race, religion or ability to pay.

Why Obama gets a free pass on his anti-Semitism and veiled calls for the destruction of Israel I can't say. History repeating itself, I guess.

I often wonder how long it took before Hitler went from giving speeches about the German economy and pride to his rants about genocide? I think we're seeing Obama in a similar transition.

Keli, I read in a book that Danny Thomas participated in a fundraiser in LA for Israel, prior to the State's establishment.

His daughter, Marlo ("That Girl!"), is very left leaning and a big supporter of the Democrats.

However, if I'm not mistaken, missing from her list of causes is our neighbors, the Fakestinians. Not 100% sure, however.

obama said he wants 2 states, one for jews, one for palestinians.
helen thomas wants there to be no israel, and no jews in israel.
the two are very different.

There's no history pre-20th century giving the coast to Jews. Our History here is concentrated in the mountain region. Whoever doesn't recognize that can't prove our rights to Tel Aviv.
OK, try to tell that to the loony Left in Tel Aviv, but they're just lying to themselves.

It's just so hard to understand this all. How can an American harbor such hostility towards Israel? At least for me, every week I went to Mass, hear the two readings and Jews and Israel were inseperable.

Nobody had to pound the issue to death it just something you believed, like the sky is blue and the grass is green. There was never any doubt.

Makes me wonder how a Catholic like Gibson became anti-Semitic when I didn't. And how Helen Thomas can be an anti-Israel American and I didn't.

Keli, what's so difficult to understand?

"For you, my brothers, have modelled yourselves on the churches of god in christ jesus which are in Judaea, in that you have suffered the same treatment from your own countrymen as they have had from the Jews,
who put the lord jesus to death, and the prophets too, and persecuted us also. Their conduct does not please God, and makes them the enemies of the whole human race,
because they are hindering us from preaching to gentiles to save them. Thus all the time they are reaching the full extent of their iniquity, but retribution has finally overtaken them."

- 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16

It's like "seething" Muslims.

There's more but why bother!

Shy, good answer.

There's an innate hatred of Jews in many, especially Muslims and Christians, because the basis of their religions is the replacement of Judaism, hijacking our history and land.

Keli Ata said...

That's the question I can't answer Shy.

Where did I come from or out of unscathed? Perhaps it is true that all converts always had a Jewish soul and hence can never become anti semitic.

Keli, the NT is riddled with contradictions (for obvious reasons, when talking about a work of cover2cover fiction trying to pass itself off as actual history):

20 'Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, though you say that Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.'
21 jesus said: Believe me, woman, the hour is coming when you will worship the father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know; for salvation comes from the Jews.

- John 4

So... you got to take your pick.

And you chose life:

19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed; 20 to love the LORD thy God, to hearken to His voice, and to cleave unto Him; for that is thy life, and the length of thy days; that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
- Devarim (Deuteronomy) 30

You are publishing a video of Mel Gibson that has been cut and pasted to misrepresent reality on purpose. Have you even seen the original? If you have to twist a point to make a point you dont have a point.
