The "Contortionist," Israeli Good Will Gestures To Terrorists

What's the purpose of Israel's "good will gestures" to the Arab terrorists? We've tried it, and tried it and tried it, and each time, all we get is more terrorism.

The results will never change. It doesn't matter how it's spun, or twisted. The Arabs are out to destroy us, and it doesn't matter if we're nice to them. It won't change their minds.

And that rediculous "proviso" that they are the ones "without blood on their hands." Why give them another chance to murder and maim? They think we're fools and they're right!

Just before I got another call to convince me to vote for one of the Likud wannabees returnee to the Knesset, Dr. Leah Ness. I was told that she was firmly against Disengagement.

"OK," I replied, "but is she against further withdrawals from Eretz Yisrael?"
"She's against one-sided, arbitrary withdrawals."
"Please, does that mean that under certain conditions, like if the Arabs promise certain things, she's in favor of withdrawing from Eretz Yisrael?"
"Yes"

Please, ask the right questions. That's the only way to get clear answers.

"Good will gestures" --- also known as "confidence-building gestures". And that's precisely the problem. Who in their right mind would want to build their enemy's confidence?
