Shiloh is a special community, with lots of talented people. One of them is my neighbor Ester Katz Silvers.
Ester, a wife, mother, grandmother and a neighbor who can always be relied upon to help others, recently published this book, Sondra's Search.
I have no idea how much is biographical and how much is fiction, besides the fact that, like the main character, Ester was raised in Kansas. Being Jewish in Kansas is very different from my childhood in New York, and I was totally fascinated by her description of her childhood and adolescence there.
The book is very well-written, and I highly recommend it. It was published by Devora Publishing.
