2 more-- Barak's to blame for last year's kidnappings & political action on Israel's Right

According to Maariv, an investigation has found that the terrorists who captured
IDF reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser were using equipment that was
left behind when the IDF retreated from Lebanon in 2000. (full article
here
)
The person who, as Prime Minister, initiated and is responsible for that withdrawal from Lebanon is non other than Ehud Barak, who as the new/old head of the Labor Party, is trying to be Israel's Prime Minister, again!

Many of us who have been voting for Ichud Leumi, the National Union, are unhappy with it ever since it merged with the NRP, National Religious Party. MK Dr. Arye Eldad, MD, the only Knesset member from the NU, who doesn't use the label "religious" is looking at the option to start a new party“Hatikvah,” Hope. Batya,
I think that it's too late. The knesset, and especially the orange knesset members, have let us all down. They claim that over 20% of poteneial voters are orange but this is not translated at the ballot box, Why? Cuz no one believes in the knesset or the orange politicians anymore.

The enlarged National Union is merely a renamed Mafdal after almost ten years. Same old people, some 'mamlachtiut'. We all know that the mafdal joined the NU because everyone was scared that mafdal wouldn't pass the threshold and 'waste' votes.

Last two elections, I voted Kleiner and Marzel. My votes weren't wasted. A) I liked their nationalist platforms, B) the vote was a message to the NU politicians that I don't believe in them, try harder.

Many orange people simply don't care anymore. The last two elections, the mafdal and NU used so much resources to tell us why not to vote Klenier and Marzel that people simply didn't vote at all.

It is that same arrogance that the 'orange' politicians think that all orange voters will vote for them that still blinds them.

Aryeh Eldad is a 'weird chicken' as they say in hebrew. A strong nationalist that seems to believe what he says, but his disadvantage is the lack of a kipa. He'll need a strong religious crew list to get any attention.

But then the NU and other anonymous advertisements will tell us not to waste our vote for his small party...

Josh, yes, things are bad, but...
First, I think it's a mistake to rely on the outwardly religious as the sole orange.
Arye doesn't wear the "uniform," but he's no less religious. Many are like him in Israel, and we must have a united party like the original T'chiya, of all shades of outward religiosity. That will bring the moshiach, G-d willing.

I'm not entirely worried about voting for a bareheaded person, 'cept that I don't know how he really is accepted in the torani world as a leader and if it outweighs that issue.

Arye's more yirat Shamayim than many in the "uniform."
I know him and trust him.
