Goofed up Priorities, but that's no surprise!

I remember when the IBA English TV News had its debut. All we could think of was, "It's about time!"

Why should those who need to hear/see the news in English be restricted to Jordan TV, or other foreign countries or communications businesses? We really enjoyed the daily 15 minute broadcast. It had everything necessary.

Of course, it didn't always report exactly how we would like, but we've always trusted that Steve Liebowitz would do his best to keep the news as accurate as possible.

After a few years, the Channel One broadcast was cut down and a longer one became available on cable. Not everyone has cable; we don't.

Now, for some "budgetary" reasons, they want it totally off of the air. Bad news. We must fight it.

The IBA staff was well-represented at the Bar Mitzvah we attended last night.
