Olmert's greatest miss-calculation was not empowering the Winograd Commission to dig deeper, go further back.
Ehud Barak, whose election promise to flee (not an organized withdrawal) from Lebanon, now appears experienced and innocent of endangering the country.
He's running hard to return to power as Prime Minister.
So far, Winograd ignored him, since their "investigation" is of the war, not the military preparations of many years' duration.
