Olmert's Support Crumbling?

More and more cracks are appearing among Olmert's unilateral withdrawal supporters. It's not quite the rock he has been counting on.

He forgets that they've already shown their "flexibility" and lack of loyalty by joining his new Kadima Party. It's like the couple that started their coupledom married to others, and then one is surprised that the other is now sleeping with someone else. Really, you married someone with a history of disloyalty; why should you expect your "partner" to stay loyal to you?

Facts on the ground are getting harder to "cover up." And more and more Israelis are being forced to admit to themselves that their homes may soon may be in danger of Arab-launched missiles!

Olmert's "team" are just politicians who want to get re-elected and be appointed to their cushy "second jobs" as ministers. I wonder how many other countries have their parliamentarians in the cabinet. That's not what I was raised with in the United States.

And re: the US, they're supporting Israel's present war against terror.

Q Tony, there's been general condemnation, criticism of the Israeli moves into the Gaza Strip from most of the countries, except the United States. Why is the U.S. mum on --

MR. SNOW: The United States has always said the same thing. There has also been universal condemnation of the kidnapping of the Israeli soldier. And we have urged and continue to urge the Israeli government to proceed with moderation. But we have also been clear that the party that began this were those who kidnapped the soldier and those who also kidnapped a civilian and murdered him, and that that is unacceptable. And we are hoping that not only the soldier gets returned, but that we can find people of goodwill on both sides, that there can be a party on the Palestinian side to negotiate in good faith with the Israelis along the lines that we have always outlined, and we'll continue to.

Nobody can figure out what's motivating Olmert to push for unilateral anything. The Americans believe one should get something for your money.

We must keep reminding everyone of how personally corrupt and how dangerous his policies are. It's already pretty well accepted as fact that Sharon Disengaged to keep his sons and himself out of jail.

Olmert is not letting facts and missiles get in the way of his Give it Away for Nothing Plans.

Look at the maps. It's clear that there's something very dangerous going on here!

We must join together to stop it!
