New? Nu! Deja Vu!

Watching the news here in NY is always filled with surprises.

Condi Rice the American "expert" cabinet member for "Foreign Affairs" kept talking about the need for a "new middle-east."

Sorry, Condi, but we've heard that phrase
before. Mabye you haven't. It was Peres's little slogan during Olso
time, and we're all in teh post-Oslo nightmare, but you may not know much history. Obviously you don't.

I don't know if she'll read this, actually doubt it, but if anyone's in touch with her or the administration or any Republicans, it's really quite a "fashla" as we say in Israel one of those awful embarrassing moments to reuse such a term that is tainted with derision by anybody with even an iota of intelligence.

Condi, dear, maybe you ought to concentrate on your pianist career. You looked so cute on TV playing the piano. C ertanly you seem to know that keyboard better than the one that touches my home, Israel.
