Official Prime Minister's statement

The fact that it was first denied by Olmert, whose checkered past is no secret, makes one wonder. Also, "The Road Map" is not in Israel's interest at all. Personally I don't consider it any better than "disengagement." For me, this statement is neither reassuring, nor comforting. All (most?) of Israel's withrawals and abandonments of Eretz Yisrael were supposed to be accompanied by Arab "peace steps."
