My only complaint was that the archeologists kept referring to Biblical periods by their historic/archeological names, like "early bronze age." That's Greek to me. I'm no expert, but I finally began learning Tanach, Bible in recent years. So it would have made more sense to my limited mind to have them also refer to the Biblical time periods, like Judges, First Temple etc. I kept asking those sitting with me. I hope they didn't mind. After awhile I gave up. It'll take me a few more conferences like this one for me to get it right.
Even though I get to Tel Shiloh for Rosh Chodesh prayers just about every month, I'm not expert in archeology and there were so many new things uncovered recently. It was great to get the excellent explanations. Multi-lingual guides can be hired from Shiloh HaKeduma by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call 02-994-4019.
