Here We Go Again HH

Frume Sarah reminds us that the Torah gets read completely every year, and this is the first edition of the Jewish year also of Havel Havelim. There are lots of great posts to read, so please dig in and have fun.

Jack has made it clear that he's not filling in on weeks when there's no volunteer host for Havel Havelim.  That's his policy.

As "owner" of the Kosher Cooking Carnival, I see things differently and I host on the months when there isn't another blogger willing to stir the pot.  If you'd like to host a KCC please let me know.  Send your kosher food posts here.

There's a third jblog carnival, JPIX, which gets published a few times a year, sometimes by Leora and sometimes by guest hosts.

And there's the new jblog Kehila group which is trying to make waves in the jblog world.  Jump in!

Thanks for the link!!

In all fairness to Jack, Haveil Havalim is a weekly blog carnival. If others don't take their turn in sharing the responsibility, and most weeks there aren't any takers, Jack ends up doing the majority of the work. We are all busy, but it doesn't seem right that most of the work falls to just one or two folks.

Jack seems burnt out. I think that Eric and his Kehila group should take it over instead of trying to start their own "round-up." Soccer Dad always took the empty weeks. HH must be weekly, since there is so much on the web.

I'm disappointed that few bloggers check the posts included. I visited much more than half yesterday and commented on some. There were very few comments. I also don't see many signs on my posts of new visitors.
